 Firewaters Fast Cash had a great first year of competition.  He competed at many local shows, as well as traveling to South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, and Oklahoma!  He won, placed, and clocked well at several shows including running a half second off at the BFA World show in the second go round, after hitting the first and not being pushed the rest of his run.  With 2009 underway, Firewaters Fast Cash is having a little more time to relax and just be a horse, compared to his futurity year.  He came back stronger, more mature, running solid and harder than before!  We look forward to taking him to some biggers shows this year. He has already qualifed for the NBHA World Show.  See below for some of his show updates!

2009 Updates:

JANUARY- Took most of January off, resting from the BFA World show (Oklahoma) & Holiday Classic (Mississippi)  MANDY MASCROFT & FIREWATERS FAST CASH QUALIFY FOR THE 2009 NBHA WORLD SHOW IN AUGUSTA, GEORGIA

FEBRUARY- Ran the fastest time of the night at Moss Bluff on the 6th.  Placed in the 1D at Lakeland on the 7th and won money in Bunnell on the 13th.

MARCH- Ran at four jackpots and took home four checks!  Tour Of Champions 2D 7th on March 1st earning $141.  Placed 2nd at Moss Bluff winning $93 on the 6th, 2nd Place for $160 at Williston on the 14th.  Had a weekend off, coming back to WIN Moss Bluff on the 27th for $115, then traveled to Marianna Florida for his first AQHA show of the year.  WINNING the Open Barrel Class, he is now an AQHA POINT EARNER!!  Looking to get qualified for the World Show.

APRIL- Was a very busy month at MOSS BLUFF!!!  Ran on the the first friday placing 1D 3rd, then with the Double Header Barrel Race (MC Arena & FL 9 NBHA) finishing 4th and 5th in the 1D out of 150 horses.  And back again on the fourth friday to finish 1D 3rd as well.

MAY- Starting out the month with the Tour Of Champions.  Firewaters Fast Cash earned a 2D check on day 1 along with placing 2nd in the Derby sidepot.  Coming back the next day to be one hole out of the 2D and finishing 4th in the 2D average earning $393 that weekend.  On the 9th he placed 3rd out of near 90 riders in Williston, before going to Unadilla Georgia the following week.  Having some nice runs, but falling in the cracks. Wrapping up the month with a 10th place finish at Lakeland on the 30th out of over 160 horses.

Cashs Goldielocks a granddaughter of Dash For Cash, was a derby money earner along with having many other wins. She is from a line of proven racing and barrel racing horses.  She is a producer of Barrel racing jackpot, futurity, money earners & winners!  Firewaters Fast Cash has a full sibling, MFR Goldie Frost, that won the Dakota West Futurity in Belle Fourche, SD on August 13-14, 2008.

I have realized that we dont have the time and devotion to stand a stallion at this time.  Currently I am offering him for sale, as I am looking to focus on breaking colts and getting them prepped for Futurities.
